Professor Nelson Aboganda is the current president of Likhaan Institute of Creatology and Innovation. and vice chair for education and research of the Likhaan Group of Organizations National Council. He is an independent development management and environmental management consultant and serves as editor of Likhaan Newsletter and Creativity & Innovation Journal. Jointly with several co-workers, he launched InventSchool on July 7, 1973. Nelson played a key role in shaping creative education and training program in the Philippines, as well as the promotion of inventive activities and local inventions in the 1970s and 1980s. Early in his career he was involved in agricultural and rural development, building construction, shelter systems and tribal settlements design, and environmental management and public health & sanitation. At Likhaan, he manages development design, planning and management program with focal points on community innovations and sustainable development. He also directs social invention and community innovation projects for urban renewal and rural development. Nelson maintains short-term training, development planning and environmental management consultancy assignments with local and foreign organizations. He is an inventor, innovator, and creativity specialist. Also a civil engineer, sanitary (environmental) engineer and an architect.

Included in the InventShool Philippine Team is ERNESTO FORCADILLA who is based in Toronto Canada and RENATO FORCADILLA, a senior lecturer at Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Both are original founders of InventSchool.

Note: Likhaan is a Filipino word for creativity.



Rey is a specialist in memory skills, critical thinking, learning capability and cognitive development. He is currently professor at the College of Entrepreneurship, QC Polytechnic University since 2014. He serves as governor of CIVITAN International in the Philippines. Rey is also the research and training director of the master's program, the flagship project of MindSkills, Inc. He has serves as part-time faculty member of Philippine Normal University where he taught psychology and value education. He studied methods and techniques of memory enhancement in Malaysia and India. Rey has conducted more than 400 memory, leadership, and critical thinking seminars and workshops , both in the Philippines and Malaysia in the last 20 years. He is an Information Specialist managing his own Resource & Information Center with a digital data larger than seven (7) universities in the Philippines combined. He has Master's Degree in management and baccalaureate study in the fields of business administration, chemistry and psychology.



Alex is presently vice president of Likhaan Institute of Creatology and Innovation and coordinates the working committees of the Likhaan Group of Organizations National Council. He plays a key role in the day-to-day management and operations of Likhaan and its member-organizations. He is a political economist, development manager and community innovator. He served as development management officer at the Technology and Livelihood Resource Center (TLRC). At Inventech Management Corporation, he was involved in the promotion of local inventions and technology development planning. Previously, he served as educational technologist of the multimedia division, Philippine Human Resources Development Center (PHRDC). Alex is educated at the National University and University of the Philippines.



Jun is a member of the Board of Directors of Likhaan Institute of Creatology and Innovation and serves as chair of the Likhaan Group of Organizations National Council. He is president of the Philippine Coconut Society; founder of Coconut House; and president of Eastern Blends Food Corporation. He studied economics and taught it in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and other colleges and universities in Metro Manila.



Art is a senior lecturer at the InventSchool and heads the robotics and artificial intelligence research and training program of Likhaan Institute of Creatology and Innovation. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience in various colleges, high schools and the TechVoc centers. He served as lecturer/trainer at the Quezon City Polytechnic University assigned to the IT Department, and at St. Paul University Quezon City where he conducts seminars and lectures on community based education for less privileged individuals and out-of-school youth scholars, PWDs and other outreach programs. He teaches computer systems servicing, analog and digital electronics, networking and programming.. Art authored Lab Text Manual and Guide to PC Troubleshooting and Repair. He provides online tutorial on several programming languages such as C++, Visual Basic, Java, and Android applications. He has Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering at the University of the East.



Rol is one of the original members of Likhaan Institute of Creatology and Innovation since mid-1970. He is consultant on cooperatives development and management, entrepreneurship, management and administrative system, housing and human settlement, research and development studies. He served as vice president of Acemont Infrastructure Developers, Inc. and a board director-secretary of the Technology for Human Development Foundation, Inc (TECHUD). Since 1971 he has conducted various training programs on entrepreneurship, enterprise development, cooperative management consulting, strategic planning, project planning and analysis, policy formulation, budget preparation and group dynamics.. He was assistant vice president of BLISS Development Corporation from 1986 to 1990 and director of the accounts management department of the Shelter Development Group, Ministry of Human Settlements. Rol also served as a management training specialist of the Cooperative Entrepreneurship for Rural Development (CERD) Project, a development program of International Labor Organization (ILO). He finished Bachelor of Liberal Arts at San Carlos Major Seminary, Makati and Master in Business Administration (MBA) at Letran College, Manila. He also completed a diploma course in Project Management for Rural and Small Industries Development in New Delhi, India.
